Hanami @ Roihuvuori, Helsinki 180514

Hello !

So like I mentioned earlier, we had a picnic in a Sakura park here in Helsinki last Sunday. There was also this festival / happening going on, so it was super crowded, there were some performances & they sold Japanese food and goodies there. We just concentrated on our picnic and taking pictures, though, haha.

Even though it hasn't been that warm here in Finland yet, the flowers were already dying and falling off, so we missed the actual "cherry blossom season".  It was okay though because the flower petals were flying around in the air and the ground was pink. So pretty.
I also got to wear my new maxi dress that I've been already talking about here more than enough lol. Anyway, the weather was suuuper hot, we had good food & great company so all in all the day was a success.

Also found my favorite Japanese candy called "Miruku no kuni" and melon ramune. So nostalgic! Haven't had these in like 3 years.

I came back from Helsinki this morning and went straight to work because they needed some extra help there, so I've been running around the whole day like a crazy person. I'm so ready to go to bed. Gonna have morning shifts every day for the rest of this week. uhh.

Catch up with you later~

Helsinki calling & New in !

Hello!

It's a super warm day today here in Finland. I came to Helsinki few hours ago after a short morning shift at work. I had an hour and a half to kill before my train left, so I (oops) ended up buying a denim jacket, new purse and some cosmetics. But I'm a happy girl now, so I guess that was worth it !

First of all though, can we take a moment to appreciate Arnolds (Finnish doughnut shop/cafe/something like that) for selling Aloe vera water? I absolutely love everything that has coconut or aloe vera in it, and it's almost impossible to get products like that from Finland (why oh why?). I used to drink this all the time in Japan, and today I was reunited with my long lost love again. ahhh~ My day immediately became way better, even though there was nothing wrong with it in the first place.
 Short L.O.G.G. denim jacket - H&M
✕ Brush set & blending brush - Cailap
✕ Intense color riche Lipstick, 285 "Pink fever" - L'Oréal Paris
✕ Wild rose lipstick, 65 "Flowers Perennoja" - Lumene
✕ Perfect wear makeup powder -  We Care Icon

✕ Hot pink clutch - H&M
I'm usually pretty careful with colors, but since I bought yesterday a pink dress, I thought I might as well buy a hot pink envelope clutch to go with it, lol. Also I'm in love with L'oreal's Intense color riche - lipsticks. So far I have two of them, but there's still few more colors I'd like to have~
Anyway, now I'm gonna hit the bed because I have to wake up early tomorrow.

Blossom maxi dress & simple envelope clutch

Hi Guys !

Yesterday was a payday which obviously means I just had to pamper myself and buy something for me today as I left from work. I'm really into flower prints and maxi dresses right now, which is not cool because all the shops are full of those exact things at the moment. It's really hard to resist the temptation. Especially for a person like me who is pretty careless with money..oops.
✕ Blossom maxi dress - 39,95 €, Vero Moda
✕ white envelope clutch - 17, 90 €, Glitter
Tomorrow I'm going to hunt for a short denim jacket and if it's warm this Sunday I'm going to wear it with this outfit. I'm going to Helsinki tomorrow and on Sunday we're going to have a picnic with the girls in a park and attend this event called "Hanami festival". It's the most important festival in Japan and celebrated during spring when the cherry trees blossom. So every year they have this same kind of event in Finland and there's some performances, Japanese food etc. I lived a year in Japan and to be honest I'm not that very fond of these kinds of "japan omg" events, so I'm mostly going for the food and the company, lol.  But it's still going to be fun! Let's hope the weather magically gets very warm during this weekend.

Finds & Needs - Ted Baker ✕ floral print bags

Hey guys!
I'm a huge sucker for bags, purses, backpacks, clutches, wallets and all that jazz.  My taste in fashion is pretty simple and I don't really drool over some piece of clothing for weeks or think about my outfit for 15 minutes every morning, but my love for bags is endless. I don't run after design bags or clothes, either, because in my opinion a bag is always a bag, no matter what it has written on it. Any bag with or without a brand will do, as long as I like it.

The only "expensive" brand that I've ever been interested in is MCM. I visited their store for the first time in Seoul few years ago and was ready to sell my soul for a bag or two right away. Lately though, through a friend of mine who loves expensive design bags, I've gotten a lot more familiar with a brand called "TED BAKER". And I have to admit, some of their products are really pretty.

I don't know if it's the summer that's right behind the corner or if my taste in fashion is drastically changing but I've fallen for floral prints & pastel colors, especially when it comes to accessories, bags, jewelry etc.
So when I was doing some random window shopping (via internet, so should I call it screen shopping?) last night, I couldn't help but fall in love with these super girly and cute floral print pastel bags & clutches from Ted Baker.

I personally like the "Remah mini across body handbag" & "Tahara tote handbag" the most. If I wasn't saving up money for Korea right now, I'd definitely get myself one of these floral print bags. They're very fresh and would go together with a lot of different colors and types of  clothes. What do you guys think?
