Here's some clothes & accessories in my atm favorite colors. My all time fall favorites consist of big sweaters, UGGs & beanies.

Finds & needs - Parka coats

  1. Black winter parka jacket
  2. Blue faux fur parka
  3. Army green detachable fur parka
  4. Green fur hooded parka
  5. Red faux fur hooded parka
  6. Blue hooded floral parka
Parka coats. Who would't love parka coats? I for sure do. They're cozy and warm and stylish. I personally hate those big and puffy winter coats. Back in the winter 2012 shops in Seoul were full of different kinds of parka coats.  I bought my brown parka (exactly like the coat no. 1) for only 50 000 won from Dongdaemun. This year I'd like to get an army green one, maybe short one like no. 4.

Do you guys like parka coats or have any particular kind of jackets and coats you like to wear?

TO DO - list for Korea.

Hey guys !
How was your summer? I hope you all enjoyed yourselves and are ready for the autumn and school or work or whatever you have planned for yourself for the rest of this year~ I couldn't be more excited. I'm absolutely loving the rainy days we've been having here in Finland lately and I can't wait to get to start wearing cozy sweaters and scarfs and beanies and whatnot.

Another reason why I'm so excited is that I have about 4 and a half months left in Finland before I'm moving to Seoul. I wrote about our plane ticket dilemma here earlier, but briefly, Finnair was having this summer sale for Asian flights for few weeks during June so we already had to buy our tickets to get them half the price they usually are. So, yes, I am officially moving to South Korea in January 12th, 2015So the problem is we have no idea how Korea's Embassy here in Finland operates during Christmas and New Year's, and the admission certificate from Hanyang University won't be sent to us before mid-late December, so, yay for not knowing if we have time to get our visas done before our flight to Seoul leaves! ....

I've been messaging back and forth with the person who deals with international undergraduate admissions at Hanyang and she said that it might be possible for us to pay the tuition earlier and also get the admission certificate sent to us earlier. So, I'm still feeling nervous, but hopeful.

I thought now would be a good time to organize my own thoughts a little bit and write down a rough "to do - list" for Korea! So here we go.

  1. Get plane tickets  check!
  2. Get paperwork done for university application:
    - translate high school diploma
    - take ugly ass passport pictures
    - do a study plan
    - fill the application form
    - get a bank certificate
    - take passport copies
  3. Figure out how to find an apartment from Seoul - check!
  4. Book a room from a guesthouse for couple of weeks (to stay in while looking for an apartment).
  5. Find out about travel insurances and get one.
  6. Get rid of useless clothes & stuff & sell them.
  7. Study. More. Korean !
  8. Buy another huge suitcase.
  9. Make a budget for Korea. Stick to it.
  10. Get another visa card - just in case.
  11. Decide what to take to Korea with you.
  12. Get a student visa done and still make it to your flight in January.
  13. Mentally prepare to face a huge chaos in Korea trying to get your life in order on the other side of the world.
After writing that all down, I realized there's much less stuff to do than I thought there would be... I think I can handle that, hahah~ Besides all the things mentioned above I plan to start going to the gym regularly again now that summer is over, meet with friends a lot and try to enjoy my last months in Finland. Ahh. I'm really, really excited now.

Until the next time ~

xx,
Julia
